''Heart of a Tiger'' is a 2015 documentary-short film directed, written and produced by Oscar winning film maker Malcolm Clarke.
Heart of a Tiger tells the story of WWII Flying Tiger pilot Glen Beneda who was shot down behind enemy lines while taking part in a secret mission. The Flying Tiger’s were an elite group of US fighter pilots secretly recruited by presidential authority and commanded by Claire Lee Chennault to help China resist Japanese occupation during the early days of the Second World War. The shark-faced nose art of the Flying Tigers remains among the most recognizable image of any individual combat aircraft or combat unit of World War II.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Heart of a Tiger )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Ocsar winning film maker Malcolm Clarke’s new documentary short film ‘Heart of the tiger’ talks about Glen Beneda )〕 With the help of Chinese villagers, a badly injured Beneda traveled over 500 miles by foot through enemy territory with little food or sleep while avoiding an enemy determined to kill him.
